Regentsmead has been involved in the residential property development and finance industry since 1934.

The company was established by Nathan Rosenbaum, the father of current chairman Richard Ross.

Regentsmead has always maintained the philosophy of a family-run business, even as we have expanded as a company. We give all our clients an individual, personal service, which is why many borrowers return for successive development loans for UK projects.

Originally based in Highbury, North London, Regentsmead moved to Edgware in Middlesex in 1984. Before Richard Ross took over the running of the company, he qualified as a chartered accountant from the London School of Economics. He previously held the position of finance director, working closely with his father to develop the home construction loans business.

The family has also been involved with a charitable trust. Through this work, both Nathan Rosenbaum and Richard Ross have had the opportunity to meet world famous figures like Steven Spielberg and Bill Clinton. As Richard Ross says, his father was a dynamic and influential man and "his legacy is still alive today".
